Frequently Asked Questions

    The objective of Stress Management service is to help Service User assess their current status and clarify the next steps, such as appropriate therapy (if applicable). These sessions are for short-term guidance only, not considered as therapy nor treatment.

    Applicable scenarios are:

    • Have not slept well lately
    • Easily angered, impatient
    • Poor working condition or spirit
    • Family or relationship problems
    • Anxiety or mild depression

    Inapplicable scenarios are:

    • Need long-term psychotherapy
    • Diagnosed mental illness (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.)
    • Withdrawal management (tobacco, alcohol, drugs, etc.)
    • Other emergency psychological conditions

    Teladoc Health, Inc is the service provider for Stress Management Service. Teladoc Health is a global virtual care leader with over 27 years in business serving millions of customers around the world.

    • Service User’s policy must be in force.
    • Service User must nominate one family member upon policy commencement.

    We understand that stress from family, relationships, and work can be overwhelming. This service offers professional guidance to help customers better understand their emotional well-being, identify key concerns, and explore next steps, such as whether further psychotherapy or support may be beneficial.

    Stress Management Service is available exclusively for Zurich Life insurance Malaysia Berhad’s customers who have active insurance plan (In force) for selective Critical Illness products.

    No, eligible members and the nominated family members can only register and book appointments for themselves. The psychologist will verify Service User’s information during the consultation. If it is determined that any Service User is abusing the service, the service will be suspended immediately, and Service User may be placed on a blacklist.

    No, eligible members do not need to pay any additional fee to use Stress Management Service. Eligible members can use Stress Management Service as many as they want as long as the policy is in forced. The service is not applicable for long-term psychotherapy.

    Zurich’s customers who have active insurance plan (In force) for selective Critical Illness products are automatically eligible for Stress Management. If the eligible members wish to use Stress Management Service, they will need to complete the enrolment portal at http://zurichmy.teladochealthasia.com .

    Once enrolment is completed and if the customer is confirmed to be eligible for this service, psychologist will then contact the eligible member via phone or email and provide guidance based on his/her emotional and stress issues.

    For further questions regarding information about this service, eligible members can contact Teladoc Health via hotline/ WhatsApp at XXX and e-mail at zurichmy@teladochealth.com . Our service hours shall be Monday to Sunday from 9am to 9pm (except Malaysia public holidays).

    As an information security policy and to protect customer privacy so that personal data is not exposed, registration cannot be done through Stress Management hotline. Customer can only do the enrolment through enrolment portal or email.

    There is no set time limit for the consultation. However, it will not exceed 1 hour in principle.

    Conversations may be recorded for quality management purposes, and Service User will be required to acknowledge this in service terms during the enrolment. If Service User prefers not to be recorded, please do not proceed with the enrolment.

    To protect Service User’s privacy, Teladoc Health will not disclose details of the session, or conversation logs to any third parties, including insurance companies, without Service User’s consent. The information provided will only be used by the psychologist or service team assisting with Service User’s concerns and will only be used to provide the service.
